Introduction:
A native New Mexican, I grew up in Albuquerque and graduated from Del Norte High School. I worked for years in the electrical industry so when in 1991 I was offered a job at Anderson Air Corps I felt right at home.
Position / Title / Responsibilities:
As a receptionist, I greet our customers as they call in for help. I listen to their request and direct them to the right department or person. Sometimes they are frustrated or upset so I ask questions and reassure them that we understand and will take care of their need.
As a Contracting Department Administrative Assistant, I set up jobs, work with the manager to coordinate scheduling, set up inspections and maintain job records.
As an assistant bookkeeper, I handle service department invoicing and billings.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy interfacing with our many customers as they call in or stop by for help. Each has a story to tell and an interesting background to hear about.
